David was in a serious accident several months ago, landing him in the Cooper trauma center for 63 days. Part of his skull is missing and it's one day from his scheduled surgery to replace it when he begins to experience balance and speech problems. Doctors are worried his surgery may have to be delayed. In the pediatric emergency department, Rhianna, who has fallen while running on the playground, arrives with her mom.
